Free Event - $10 Bourbon Old Fashioneds during happy hour Richard P. Bennett started out working on and Off-Broadway, doing shows with such stars as Jerry Stiller, Anne Meara, Chita Rivera, Laurie Beechman and Stacy Keach. In Chicago he was a paid chorister at a major cathedral for ten years until the onset of blindness made him bail. After being called up repeatedly at local clubs and bars he helped found and now fronts The Lay-Down Ramblers, a 5-piece eclectic electric band that plays blues, country, pop, rock, originals… just about anything they think might delight the audience. That’s his goal for his solo shows, too. Richard is proud to be endorsed by Hohner harmonicas and Lanikai ukuleles
