Jake McKelvie has traveled the DIY touring circuit in the US and UK for over a decade, carving out a niche for himself as a songwriter and performer. Known for his off-kilter and whimsical "stream of self-consciousness" lyricism and charming stage demeanor, he keeps audiences engaged both as a solo performer or with his newly minted backing band, “the New Old Band". He released his latest LP "A New Kind of Hat" in 2024 and has been touring in support of that since. Max Morton is a folk singer-songwriter from Evanston, Illinois currently based in Boston. Since arriving in Boston in 2021, Max has been a mainstay in the indie music scene, displaying soft guitar lines and introspective lyrics garnering comparison to the likes of Nick Drake, Gregory Alan Isakov and Caamp. His debut single “Hold On” was released in April of 2022 and was featured on Spotify’s “Fresh Finds Folk” playlist alongside upcoming artists such as Searows and Sadurn. In January of 2023, Morton released his debut EP titled a few songs and is releasing his new single ‘soda can’ on February 2nd 2024 with two more singles and an EP coming shortly after.
