It is housed in a building that formerly served as a showroom for Finney & Son's mausoleums and tombstones! Today, the space has been transformed into a legendary, multi-purpose underground arts hub and music venue.With an intimate capacity of just 175 people, PhilaMOCA occupies a rare and beloved niche in the city's scene. It operates as an all-ages, BYOB venue that brings in an incredibly eclectic mix of underground indie rock, avant-garde punk, and experimental acts. But music is only half the story—they are equally famous for hosting obscure cult movie screenings, independent film festivals, and bizarre performance art pieces.
