Equal Measure Arts (EMA) presents an evening at One Longfellow Square showcasing the emerging artists and stories at the heart of its work. Featuring: Jaylen White, an up-and-coming R&B artist and EMA Junior Engineer from Westbrook, Maine, returning to One Longfellow Square with his live band Jennifer Talon, a 16-year-old singer-songwriter currently recording her debut EP with support from EMA, giving her first-ever live performance with a full band Hazel Mae, a folk singer-songwriter and Program Director of local nonprofit DocSong, sharing documentary songs created in collaboration with community storytellers. This showcase highlights the impact of storytelling through song, and celebrates the music made possible through access to recording, mentorship, and creative collaboration.
