Briscoe with special guest Noah James — live event on Oct 9, 2026
Briscoe live at One Longfellow Square, Portland on Fri, Oct 9, 8:00 PM. Free entry. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.
If Briscoe’s debut felt like a coming-of-age soundtrack rooted in the Texas Hill Country, Heat of July finds the duo chasing a broader horizon. Written on the road and shaped by marriage, travel, and shifting landscapes, the songs reflect the ever-changing view beyond the van’s windshield. Produced with Brad Cook and featuring collaborators from Houndmouth, Hiss Golden Messenger, Bon Iver, Mipso, and Watchhouse, the album expands their folk-rock sound into something more cinematic and far-reaching.
