The second in our series of shows with Scotland Introducing. This one features and exciting new electro-folk ‘supergroup’ and one of Scotland’s finest trad singers on one mighty bill. Birdvox Birdvox is an exciting new electro-folk band, formed from a collective passion for birds, harmonies and impromptu kitchen discos. The group channels energetic, shapeshifting synthesis and celebrates the delight of vocal interplay. Audiences can expect velvet harmonies, thoughtful lyrics, and vibrant, bespoke beats throughout their performances. The ensemble consists of four established, multi-tasking artist-producers: Sarah Hayes: vocals, flute, synths, programming; Charlotte Printer: vocals, bass; Jenny Sturgeon: vocals, guitar, synths, sampling; Inge Thomson: vocals, accordion, electronica, beats.
