Lineup: Ecid, Chris Conde, Duncecap, Eyenine Indie-Hiphop Anti-Hero, ECID returns to celebrate the release of his 10th solo album “Lake Willoughby” an album born out of heartbreak and a burning desire to find the comedy in failure. The genesis of “Lake Willoughby” started in the winter of 2023. On the heels of a mid-life reset that inspired sobriety, therapy and experimenting with comedy writing. Armed with a pair of noise canceling headphones and a gang of beats, ECID, spent that winter walking around NYC for hours. Taking in the energy, digging for records, eating questionable food, getting stuck on the train and letting inspiration hit from the wealth of weirdness the city has to offer. The core of the album is fueled by the spirit of that little blip in time. Recorded over the span of 3 years “Lake Willoughby” evolved throughout the process to represent home. These songs are about love, relationships, failure, rejection, getting lost and finding our way back...Some of us leave our hometowns and blossom in our adopted cities but for Ecid, Minnesota is never out of sight or mind. The title also acts as a bridge between Brooklyn and Minneapolis, forever torn... ECID has brought along some awesome friends from the underground hiphop community to celebrate: Chris Conde, Duncecap and Eyenine. 3 killer mc's with their own individual styles... Ages: 21+
