Lineup: Pete Mancini, Robert Gay and the Alarms, Allie Kenny, Thank You Friends, Thank You Band Put a Big Star on your calendar: August 20 will be a don't-miss night of power pop and jangly Americana at Bar Freda in Ridgewood! PETE MANCINI & THE HILLSIDE AIRMEN: Pete is a heartful guitarist and songwriter who's rubbed shoulders with everyone from the Wallflowers to Jimmy Webb. ROBERT GAY AND THE ALARMS: Robert migrated up from Nashville in 2023, bringing a Rickenbacker 12-string and a catalog of originals, now performed by a full band of NYC's finest live musicians. ALLIE KENNY is an artist on the rise, performing in NJ and NYC while working on her debut album with members of Wilco and the dB's. Special guests THANK YOU FRIENDS will close the night with a set of classic power pop songs by the Memphis group Big Star. Ages: 21+
