Freshly Pressed returns to Dead Letter No. 9 on August 29th for the final installment of its summer residency, raising funds for Opportunity Music Project, which provides free music education and mentorship to children from low-income families across NYC. In Cargo, Roni Amitai + Connie join Freshly Pressed co-founders Asha Jasz and Vivian Wang. Detroit-based Roni’s vinyl-driven sets move through house, electro, and minimal. Her releases include Satya, Paulum, BladeHouse, and NG Trax, with a BAUMB collaboration forthcoming. A fixture in NYC’s underground scene for nearly two decades, longtime ReSolute resident Connie has toured from Brazil to Dubai and released music as Connie Yin, Constar, and C&K on labels including Bedrock Records. Asha is a devoted record digger and member of vinyl-only label Brooklyn Sway, recently contributing to BKS08. Beijing-born, NYC-based Vivian is known for high-energy sets, rare vinyl finds, and genre-defying selections. She has shared stages with Cassy, Danny Tenaglia, Seth Troxler, Juan Atkins, and David Morales. In the Foyer, E’Klektik’s Harry Fletcher and Jared Maharaj take over from 9PM–3AM, moving through deep, soulful, and tribal house, minimal, and dub-influenced techno. Their credits include appearances in New York, Japan, and alongside Youandewan, Boris Werner, and Gianmarco Orsini.
