On Saturday, September 5th, legendary DJ and producer Tommie Sunshine takes over Dead Letter No. 9 alongside Amber Valentine and SPRFRK. A Midwest rave legend and longtime Brooklyn resident, Tommie has spent decades connecting house, electro, techno, and rock. His extensive career includes collaborations with Felix Da Housecat, James Murphy, Arthur Baker, DJ Hell, and Mylo, plus remixes for Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Killers, Elvis Presley, Ladytron, and Avril Lavigne. Known for unpredictable, genre-blurring sets, he’s played everywhere from underground clubs and international festivals to the Guggenheim and events for Versace, Chanel, Raf Simons, and Jeremy Scott. Catch him in CARGO from 12:30AM–3:30AM. Opening CARGO is Amber Valentine, whose joyful, electric sets draw from disco, house, and queer club culture. She co-produces PAT with JD Samson and runs Misster at The Woods, one of NYC’s longest-running weekly dance parties. Holding down the Foyer from 9PM–3AM is SPRFRK, a Miami-born staple of New York’s queer underground known for a flamboyant mix of house, club anthems, and percussion.
