After several years focusing on his various bands, Bellowhead lead-singer Jon Boden returns to solo touring to launch his new book, ‘A Folk Song A Day’, published by Faber Music. The show will include a song from each month of the book and, through them, whisk the audience away on a whistle-stop tour through the history of English folk song. Rarities and curiosities from 300 years of folk song will keep company with established folk classics from his award-winning back catalogue. Jon Boden has become the stand-out performer of his generation of traditional folk artists, but one whose repertoire extends far beyond the boundaries of the genre.
