Porter Martin is a country singer-songwriter whose musicaljourney began at age 12, inspired by performances at TheBluebird Cafe. After debuting at the iconic Nashville venue in2014, he recalls, “It’s such a small venue, but I felt like I wasplaying Nissan Stadium.” Originally from Demopolis, Alabama,Porter picked up the guitar at 14 and quickly transitioned fromlearning Eagles songs to writing his own music. By 2007, hewas performing cover songs full-time. Years later, he is nowperforming his original music and has shared stages withartists like Montgomery Gentry, Cole Swindell, Love andTheft, Marshal Tucker Band, Eli Young Band, Brantley Gilbertand Dierks Bentley. This year he has played sold out showsas far afield from his Nashville home as Maui, HI, as well asselling out Nashville's venerable Bluebird Cafe, the place thatinspired his musical journey. He has penned songs with hitNashville writers, including Lainey Wilson and Jordan Davis,Casey Beathard, Phil OdOnnell. His music showcases histraditional country roots and storytelling prowess. Porter’s firstrelease “The Cowboy” was featured in a Major Motion Picturetrailer for the Dennis Quaid film “Reagan”. Porter's first radiosingle, “Walking The Floor” debuted on the Music Row chartin February of 2025, eventually peaking at 47* on that chartand at #3 on the True Indie Chart. Porter’s current radiosingle “Hell That I Call Home”, chalked up his first #1 song onthe CDX True Indie Chart and broke into top 40 eventuallypeaking at #34 on the Music Row Magazine Chart. In his freetime, Porter enjoys grilling out and often has the smoker goingduring co-writing sessions on his farm in Ashland City. “I wantyou to know who I am,” Porter shares. “I’m a simple, small town Alabama guy who loves country music, football, fishing,and hunting.” Through heartfelt storytelling, he inviteslisteners to find themselves in his songs.
