Saapato Saapato is the music project of upstate New York–based sound artist Brendan Principato. His work explores the intersection of ecology and music, weaving manipulated field recordings with lush electronic soundscapes that invite listeners to reconsider their place within nature. He has completed multiple residencies with the National Park Service and the Alaska State Park Service, including a 2023 residency near Juneau documenting whale and bird migrations, and a 2022 residency on Fire Island, New York, recording the fragile ecologies of swale and dune habitats. His practice extends into site-specific installation, most recently presented at Experimental Sound Studio’s Sonic Pavilion 2025 festival in Chicago. Saapato’s recordings have been recognized as Best Ambient on Bandcamp during the months of their release, and his immersive live performances have brought him into collaboration and touring alongside artists such as Laraaji, Don Slepian, Patricia Wolf, and Green-House among others. His discography includes releases on Constellation Tatsu, Aural Canyon, Sound as Language, AKP Recordings, and Window Sill Records. Matt Evans Matt Evans is a drummer, composer, and producer based in Brooklyn. His performances and recordings collage together drum-driven improvisations, playful synthesized sound-organisms, and various musical collaborators to create brightly-hued and embodied electroacoustic sound worlds. His compositions draw inspiration from millennial esoterica, surreal natural phenomena, and science fiction, resulting in hypnotic soundscapes that have been described as "hyperreal and phantasmal" (Wire Magazine), and "a form of chill complexity" (New York Times). Matt is a life-long collaborator, frequently working with other musicians, choreographers, artists, and filmmakers in both precise compositions and intuitive, improvisatory projects. Isaac Sherman Isaac Sherman is a musician, composer and filmmaker living in Los Angeles, California. Engaging with a variety of analog and digital synthesizers, samplers, guitar and voice, Isaac explores sonic curiosities through improvisation, composition and collaboration. His current musical practice focuses on the physical elements of analog synthesis and its ability to emulate wind, string and other acoustic instruments. In 2025, Sherman released his debut LP, A Pasture, Its Limits, and toured the West Coast and Midwest. He frequently performs around Los Angeles and has collaborated with artists such as Nicole McCabe, Dustin Wong and MA Tiesenga. He has scored films by Cecelia Condit and Josh Weissbach. Henry Fraser Born in Boston in 1991, double bassist and composer Henry Fraser moved to New York City in 2014 and has since developed a wide-ranging practice rooted in improvisation and collaboration. He has worked with artists including Ka Baird, John Zorn, Uniform, Mary Halvorson, Randall Dunn, and Joey Arias, and has performed internationally at venues and festivals such as Unsound Festival, The National Concert Hall of Ireland, Carnegie Hall, and Lincoln Center. Fraser’s work often begins with raw sonic materials that evolve through collaboration and engagement with a wide spectrum of musical forms—frequently communal, ceremonial, psychedelic, or devotional in character.
