Raised in the foothills of South Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains and now based in North Georgia, Sam Burchfield draws inspiration from the landscapes and traditions of Southern Appalachia. His latest album, Me & My Religion, was recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with his longtime touring band, The Scoundrels, capturing the chemistry they've built on the road together. Blending Americana, indie folk, psychedelia, and Southern rock, the album explores the search for meaning and connection in a modern world while remaining rooted in Burchfield's vivid, nature-inspired songwriting.
