Thomas Linger — artist
Thomas Linger, New York based pianist, originally hails from Waynesville, NC. First place winner of the American Jazz Pianist Competition and finalist in the American Pianist Awards, he is an accomplished performer, composer, and teacher, performing in many of NYC's top venues from The Village Vanguard, Lincoln Center and Dizzy's Club, to Smalls, Mezzrow, and many more. Thomas leads his own band in addition to engagements alongside current luminaries such as Peter Bernstein, Peter Washington, Joe Farnsworth, Francisco Mela, and many others. Thomas's debut album Out In It released on Cellar Records in August 2022.
