The Boxmasters are an American rock band known for their blend of rockabilly, country rock, and Americana. Formed in 2007 by Billy Bob Thornton and J.D. Andrew, the band's sound is heavily influenced by the British Invasion, 1960s mod, and roots music. Their music is characterized by jangly guitars, storytelling lyrics, and a vintage vibe that nods to both classic rock and traditional country. The Boxmasters have built a reputation for their energetic live performances and a distinctively retro approach to modern rock.
