Teenage Fanclub has 12 upcoming shows, next at Petit Bain on Wed, Oct 21. Dates, venues and tickets on Ckord.
Teenage Fanclub is a Scottish alternative rock band formed in Glasgow in 1986. Known for their jangly guitar-driven sound and melodic sensibilities, they blend power pop, indie rock, and psychedelic influences with introspective songwriting. The band draws inspiration from 1960s rock acts like The Beatles and Big Star, channeling those influences through a distinctly 1990s alternative lens. Their 1991 album "Bandwagonesque" became a landmark of the era, establishing them as key figures in the Scottish indie rock scene. Characterized by layered harmonies, fuzzy guitars, and emotionally direct lyrics, their music balances accessibility with artistic depth.
