Ruts D.C. is a British band that emerged from the late 1970s punk scene, evolving their sound to incorporate elements of reggae, dub, and post-punk. Originally formed as The Ruts, the band is known for their socially conscious lyrics and rhythmic fusion, drawing influence from reggae icons like Bob Marley and punk contemporaries such as The Clash.
