Prolapse is a British band known for their eclectic blend of post-punk, indie rock, and noise elements. Formed in the early 1990s in Leicester, their sound is characterized by dual male and female vocals, driving rhythms, and a penchant for experimentation. Influenced by bands like The Fall and Can, Prolapse's music often features repetitive structures and a raw, energetic edge. Their approach combines a mix of angular guitar work and a dynamic vocal interplay that sets them apart in the alternative music scene.
