Loscil is a Canadian ambient music project led by composer and sound designer Scott Morgan. Known for its minimalist approach, Loscil's sound is characterized by lush soundscapes, subtle rhythms, and a focus on texture and atmosphere. Influenced by artists like Brian Eno and the post-rock band Labradford, Morgan employs both electronic and acoustic elements to create immersive auditory experiences. His work often explores themes of nature and technology, resulting in a contemplative and meditative listening experience.
