Gilla Band, an Irish group formerly known as Girl Band, is recognized for their abrasive blend of noise rock, post-punk, and experimental sounds. Drawing influences from acts like The Jesus Lizard, Neu!, and techno music, their work is characterized by dissonant guitars, relentless rhythms, and intense vocal delivery. The band's sound is marked by a raw, visceral energy that often explores themes of modern anxiety and disillusionment.
