Greer Baxter — artist
Greer is a songwriter working across genres and specializing in pop. She has been commissioned to write songs for a number of artists including a song for an American Idol finalist Alyssa Raghu, Grammy nominee Thana Alexa, and for UK pop singer Sonna Rele. She also wrote “Line in the Sand” sung by Mandy Gonzalez of Hamilton fame. She has written melodies for two new podcasts and is currently collaborating with a signed artist. She was an assistant producer on a Grammy winning jazz composition, and loves performing her original songs with the New York Songwriters Circle, Sofar Sounds, and other venues in Chicago and New York, including the Bitter End and Mercury Lounge. Greer gave a TedX talk at the University of Chicago on the nexus of poetry and melody and recently released singles called “Sleeping on the Couch” and “Fine Line”
