Gorod is a five-piece tech-death metal band from Bordeaux known for their progressive and sophisticated approach that blends technical death metal with influences from 1970s jazz, funk, and rock. Their music combines aggressive complexity with groove, melody, and rich harmonies, delivered through explosive and tightly executed live performances. They have toured throughout Europe, North America, Japan, and South-East Asia, and released their seventh album, The Orb, in early 2023.
