Known for its blend of dark wave and synth-pop, Austra's sound is characterized by haunting vocals, lush synth arrangements, and driving beats. Influenced by artists such as Kate Bush and Depeche Mode, Stelmanis draws on her classical training to craft songs that explore themes of identity and emotion.
