Extortion is an Australian hardcore punk band known for their intense and fast-paced sound, drawing notable influences from early American hardcore acts like Black Flag and Minor Threat. Their music is characterized by rapid tempos, aggressive vocals, and concise, hard-hitting tracks that often tackle themes of frustration and societal critique. With a raw and unpolished production style, Extortion has cemented their place in the punk scene with a sound that remains true to the genre's roots while delivering a relentless auditory assault.
