Drag the River is an alt-country band known for blending punk rock energy with traditional country and Americana influences. Formed in Colorado, the group features members who have roots in punk bands such as All and Armchair Martian, which informs their raw, honest sound. Their music is characterized by heartfelt lyrics, twang-infused melodies, and a laid-back yet gritty vibe. Influenced by artists like Uncle Tupelo and The Replacements, Drag the River crafts songs that resonate with both introspective storytelling and a rugged, down-to-earth sensibility.
