Texas Is the Reason — artist
Texas Is the Reason has 2 upcoming shows, next at Amos' Southend on Wed, Oct 21. Dates, venues and tickets on Ckord.
Texas Is the Reason was a post-hardcore band formed in New York City in 1994. Their sound is characterized by melodic guitar lines, emotionally resonant lyrics, and a blend of punk energy with more introspective, indie rock elements. Influenced by bands like Fugazi and Sunny Day Real Estate, they played a significant role in shaping the emo genre of the mid-1990s. Despite a brief initial run, their sole full-length album, "Do You Know Who You Are?", remains influential in the post-hardcore and emo scenes.
