Shub is an electronic music artist who coined the powwow-step genre, blending ancient powwow rhythms with modern beats, scratching, and bass-heavy production. A former member of the JUNO-winning A Tribe Called Red, Shub works as a composer, storyteller, and artist expanding Indigenous music globally. His two-part album Heritage incorporates hip-hop, IDM, dub-infused trip-hop, and drill influences.
