Dead Animal Assembly Plant — artist
Dead Animal Assembly Plant has 2 upcoming shows, next at The Albatross on Thu, Oct 15. Dates, venues and tickets on Ckord.
Formed in 2007 as a solo project by Zach Wager before evolving into a full band in 2011, Dead Animal Assembly Plant (DAAP) is an industrial metal band known for its highly theatrical horror aesthetic and aggressive sound.Their distinct visual style and lore are inspired by a fictional horror story set in the 19th century about a bankrupt German butcher named Wilhelm Schröder. Embracing this dark narrative, the band performs in ominous, blood-splattered butcher costumes with prosthetic torso coverings and meat-esque painted faces, delivering a visceral live experience. Musically, they blend heavy industrial rhythms with metal riffs, drawing inspiration from acts like Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, and Skinny Puppy.
