Evergrey is a Swedish progressive metal band known for their dark, melodic sound that blends elements of power metal and progressive rock. Formed in 1995, the band draws notable influences from acts like Dream Theater and Queensrÿche, infusing their music with intricate guitar work and atmospheric keyboards. Their sound is defined by Tom S. Englund's emotive vocals and thematic explorations of existential and introspective subjects. Evergrey has maintained a consistent presence in the metal scene with their complex compositions and polished production.
