World Cafe Live - The Lounge

World Cafe Live - The Lounge in Philadelphia has 74 upcoming shows. Next: Stanley Simmons on Mon, Oct 5. Full calendar, lineups and tickets on Ckord.

If you are looking for an intimate, deeply relaxed spot to discover emerging local talent while grabbing a fantastic meal, The Lounge (located on the venue's upper street-level) is the perfect room.Operating as a seamless hybrid between a full-service restaurant, a craft beer bar, and an acoustic listening room, the space is unpretentious and incredibly welcoming. The stage here acts as a vital launchpad for Philadelphia's vibrant independent scene, regularly hosting everything from singer-songwriter showcases and local jazz quartets to spirited open mics and trivia nights. Because the room is laid out like a tiered café, you can sit at a table, order a great burger and a local IPA, and enjoy pristine sound without dealing with the crushed, standing-room-only energy of a typical rock club.Local Tip: The Lounge's kitchen and bar operate entirely under the same roof as the main venue. It is the absolute best place to grab dinner and pre-game before a massive show downstairs—you can literally finish your meal, close your tab, and walk right down the stairs to the main event!

Address: 3025 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States
