Built in 1892, it is actually the second-oldest concert hall in all of New York City! With its stunning, cavernous interior and flawless acoustics, catching a live performance, symphony, or local theater production inside this historic, 686-seat venue feels like stepping completely back in time.Local Tip: Beyond the music and architecture, you cannot leave without walking through the New York Chinese Scholar’s Garden. Hidden within the broader botanical grounds, this is one of only two authentic outdoor Chinese scholar's gardens in the United States. Featuring magnificent rock formations, quiet bamboo forest paths, and a tranquil koi pond, it is an unbelievably serene escape from the concrete jungle.
