Jolene Sound Room — music venue
Jolene Sound Room in Brooklyn has 2 upcoming shows. Next: BackToLife w/ Donae'o on Sat, Oct 10. Full calendar, lineups and tickets on Ckord.
Located inside the stylish Moxy Williamsburg, Jolene Sound Room is an intimate, retro-themed lounge that perfectly bridges the gap between a chic boutique hotel bar and a serious audiophile haven. Inspired by 1970s and 80s nightlife culture, mid-century recording studios, and the unapologetic fierceness of Dolly Parton, the space is decked out in warm textures, tasteful lighting, and a cozy 150-person capacity that keeps the vibe remarkably exclusive.Do not let the glamorous decor fool you, though—this room was built for serious music lovers. Outfitted with a world-class, custom sound system designed by Phonic Technologies (the award-winning team behind legendary, dearly missed NYC clubs like Output and Cielo), Jolene sounds absolutely incredible. The programming draws heavy hitters from Brooklyn’s local scene and the global dance circuit, heavily showcasing the best of disco, house, and techno. It is the ideal spot if you are looking for an upscale, curated night out where you can sip elevated cocktails and dance to top-tier DJ sets in a beautifully designed, high-energy room.
