H0L0 — music venue

H0L0

H0L0 in Queens has 12 upcoming shows. Next: ReSolute with Aurora Halal on Fri, Oct 9. Full calendar, lineups and tickets on Ckord.

If you're completely burnt out on velvet ropes, bottle service sparklers, and VIP sections, it is time to cross the Brooklyn/Queens border and step into H0L0. Tucked away on Wyckoff Avenue in Ridgewood, this independent artist-run venue is the absolute heartbeat of NYC’s authentic underground music scene, and it is strictly for the heads.H0L0 (pronounced "Holo") gives off major Berlin-meets-Brooklyn warehouse energy. The aesthetic is completely stripped back—think exposed brick, low lighting, and zero pretension—because the entire focus is on the music. The sound system here is famously chest-rattling, built perfectly to handle the high-intensity lineup of techno, house, and experimental club DJs they book every weekend. You won't find a VIP banquette in sight; everyone is on the exact same level, sweating it out on the dance floor or catching some air in the yard until sunrise. This isn't the place to stand around and take flash photos for your feed (in fact, keeping your phone tucked away is highly encouraged). This is where you go when you want to lose yourself in a 5 AM DJ set, surrounded by a community of people who are just as obsessed with raw, boundary-pushing audio as you are. Grab your earplugs, lace up your most comfortable sneakers, and come experience nightlife in its purest form. 🖤⛓️
