It feels worlds away from the city, right in the middle of Woodhaven and Forest Hills.At its heart sits the George Seuffert, Sr. Bandshell, one of the great free-concert traditions in Queens. All summer long, the bandshell hosts everything from big bands and oldies to Latin music and tributes, drawing generations of locals out to the lawn for breezy nights of live music under the trees.Local Tip: The Seuffert Bandshell concerts are a classic — bring lawn chairs and a picnic, arrive before showtime, and enjoy one of the most charming, old-school free music nights in the city. 🎺🌲
