🌐 Flushing Meadows Corona Park: Where the World Comes to PlayHome to two World’s Fairs and crowned by the iconic Unisphere, Flushing Meadows Corona Park is the sprawling, 897-acre crown jewel of Queens. With its lakes, the USTA tennis center, Citi Field next door, and the Queens Museum and Theatre on its grounds, it’s a place where the whole world really does come together — fitting for the most diverse county in America. The park’s wide-open lawns and plazas host a rich season of free outdoor concerts and cultural festivals that mirror the borough’s incredible diversity, from Latin and South Asian sounds to global pop and beyond. Under the shadow of the Unisphere, the music is as international as Queens itself.Local Tip: Get a photo by the Unisphere before the show, then settle onto the lawn — the wide-open space means there’s almost always a great spot, even for the bigger festival days. 🎡🎶
