If you’re wandering around Midtown or Times Square and need a break from the chaotic mega-clubs and tourist traps, let me point you toward a true NYC nightlife and dining staple: Connolly’s Irish Pub. This family-owned gem delivers that warm, authentic, "everyone knows your name" hospitality that is so incredibly hard to find in the middle of Manhattan. The vibe here is exactly what you want in a traditional pub—rich wood paneling, an epic lineup of over 50 beers on tap (getting a perfectly poured Guinness is non-negotiable), and a menu packed with comfort food heavy-hitters like Shepherd’s Pie and Bangers and Mash. But here is the real insider tip: they boast a fantastic, spacious rooftop bar, and they host incredible live bands upstairs at their dedicated music venue, Klub 45!Whether you’re grabbing a casual pint and a bite before a Broadway show, catching a weekend rugby match on their massive flat screens, or settling in for live music with your crew, Connolly’s feels like a little slice of Dublin right in the city. Grab a stool, order a whiskey, and settle in! 🍻🎻
