If you are craving a vibrant, tropical escape but don't want to leave the boroughs, you absolutely must check out Cafe Erzulie. Tucked right on the border of Bed-Stuy and Bushwick on Broadway, this stunning, Black-owned Haitian cafe and cocktail bar is one of the most incredibly warm and welcoming spaces in Brooklyn. The absolute highlight of Erzulie is its jaw-dropping backyard oasis—it is completely bursting with lush plants, colorful flowers, and a laid-back, community-driven energy that makes you feel like you’ve been transported straight to the Caribbean. What makes this spot so special is how effortlessly it shape-shifts. By day, it’s a gorgeous, sun-drenched cafe serving up rich Haitian coffee and fresh savory patties. But as the sun goes down, it completely transforms into a high-energy nightlife sanctuary, pouring expert tropical cocktails while local DJs spin an irresistible mix of R&B, Afrobeats, and dancehall, alongside frequent live jazz sets.Whether you're looking for a gorgeous daytime remote working spot or a sweaty, joyful night dancing under the stars with your crew, Cafe Erzulie always delivers the perfect vibe. Grab a rum punch and head straight to the backyard! 🍹🌴
