ARTSPACE is the basement club beneath Ian Schrager's PUBLIC Hotel at 215 Chrystie Street on the Lower East Side. It opened with the hotel in 2017 as Public Arts, a flexible room for film, dance, theater, talks and DJs, and in 2021–22 hosted House of X, an immersive club night run with House of Yes. Today it is a standing-room dance floor with a mezzanine, full lighting and a club sound system, holding roughly 250 on the main floor and about 350 with the mezzanine open. The programming is promoter residencies built around house music: Off the Record on Saturdays and Tuesdays, Mirari's Friday guest DJs and the monthly Risqué disco party, spanning deep, Afro, tech and melodic house and disco. Nights are 21+ with ID.
