Band was established by Winston Peck in 1980 in LA California. Group performed Latin style of music in LA clubs and festivals, socials and different parties. In 1988 Winston Peck relocated the group to Atlanta GA where group continues to perform in different clubs, restaurants, festivals, Latin dance socials, accompaniment of popular singing performers. Orquesta Taboga now is an Atlanta based group comprised of eleven musicians from various parts of Caribbean and the United States: two trumpets, two trombones, piano, bass, timbales, congas, bongos, and two vocalists who also play various percussion instruments. Specialties: The group performs Jazz, Latin Jazz, Salsa, Meringue, Cumbia, Cadence, Cha-cha, Latin Pop, and many other various styles of Latin music that represent a cross section of the composite Latin American culture.
