She Past Away and Actors live at Manchester Gorilla, Manchester on Fri, Sep 25, 7:00 PM. Tickets from $31.57. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.
SHE PAST AWAY is a dark wave / post-punk duo, consisting of Volkan Caner (vocal, guitars and songwriting) and Doruk Ozturkcan (drums, synths and production). Experimenting old/new aesthetic of synth music into their core guitar stuff, She Past Away forge a sound, an attitude, and a sensibility, conveyed through a minimalist poetry sung in Turkish, which sweeps the audience through a dense, continual epic trip in both their recordings and live performances. With a sleek, cinematic sound that’s ice-cool and anthemic, four-piece ACTORS —Jason Corbett (vocals, guitar), Shannon Hemmett (synth, vocals), Kendall Wooding (bass, vocals), and Adam Fink (drums)—has carved out a distinct space in the modern darkwave scene.
