Nicole Zuraitis coined The Modern Songbook, a genre inspired by the American Songbook, which blends traditional structures with contemporary vocals. This event will showcase the ever changing nature of jazz, pop, folk, roots, blues, and soul. The Modern Songbook features 50 living contemporary vocal songwriters. Joining Zuraitis will be jazz-country guitarist and composer Vilray, as well as jazz vocalist and composer Vanisha Gould. This night will remind you that vocal composers are reshaping jazz every day!
