MATTED ft Support TBA at BLONDIES Matted are one of the UK’s most exciting new rock bands, fusing heavy riffs, big hooks and left-field textures. The five-piece has built momentum with slots at Download, Call of the Wild and Planet Rockstock, plus supports for Crashface, Armored Saint and Von Hertzen Brothers, alongside headline shows in London and Brighton. Finalists in Kerrang! Radio’s The Deal, they pair grit with ambition. Guitarist Jake Slack and bassist Jacob Swann first met as kids in School of Rock: The Musical and later formed Chapter 13, earning a golden buzzer on Britain’s Got Talent and playing the O2 Arena before they were 16. With renewed ambition and energy, they set out to build something powerful and authentic with Matted.
