Martin Luther McCoy is a visionary soul singer and dynamic vocalist renowned as one of the San Francisco Bay Area’s premier talents. Blending traditional jazz, funk, rock, and soul into a fluid, electrifying sound, he creates what can only be described as liquid-cooled, versatile funk. His powerful voice has led him to perform as the frontman for esteemed groups like the SFJAZZ Collective, The Roots, and Too $hort, while also pursuing a prolific solo career. Aside from his performing career, Luther is the creative force behind Moon Medicin, a multimedia performance ensemble that seamlessly intertwines found cinema, original compositions, and theatrical storytelling through intricate costumes and immersive production. Currently, Luther is putting the finishing touches on his fifth studio album, Welcome Back Love, set for release in April 2026.
