Our April Dance is here, as genre defying,and eclectic as ever. This month we’re kicking things off with live show from the wicked poet / rapper Nadeem Din-Gabisi who'll be performing his brand new album that is coming on out this summer on Moshi Moshi. One the decks will be three friends doing it with all the love they have , yes the magic 3 are back : Cosmo Sofi Plinio Ferreira Lex Blondin Sound system courtesy of the lovely people at Audio Gold. As usual Lex will be setting up the space with some wicked lights picked up from @insightlighthing, and play some sonic gems too. About our live act : Award-winning lyricist, visual artist and filmmaker Nadeem Din-Gabisi is about to release his album OFFSHORE via Moshi Moshi Records. In recent years, Nadeem has cemented his unique voice as one of the most thought-provoking new artists to emerge from the UK. Born in London to Sierra-Leonian parents, Nadeem’s work wrestles with notions of identity, displacement, trauma and struggle. Having initially established himself as a lyricist as part of the heralded Steamdown Collective, he has since gone on to collaborate with artists such as Sampa The Great & Metronomy.
