Pamela Laws is a New York musician and singer-songwriter who has just released her 4thstudio album, THE ONES I LOVE. Interview Magazine says “Lucky for New Yorkers, she’sthe real thing. Laws blends her experiences with pop, jazz, rock and folk. … her tinyspeaking voice belies the big belting, sometimes booming onstage sound and persona.”Pamela was born in Houston, Texas and raised in San Francisco where she was discovered byCounting Crows who asked she and a bandmate to sing backing vocals. After recording twoalbums with Warner Reprise Records, Pamela moved to NYC. Pamela’s latest album, THEONES I LOVE, is a collection of songs that center around her Texas roots and Californiaupbringing. It features Larry Campbell (Bob Dylan and Larry and Teresa) on mandolin andelectric guitar and pedal steel as well as Cindy Cashdollar (Bob Dylan) on dobro and lap steeland was produced by Jack Petruzzelli (Joan Osborne, Patti Smith). On June 21st Pamela willrelease her new single, I WILL FIND YOU, on Big Crowd Music. She will be celebrating itsrelease with a concert at The Cutting Room Thursday, June 20th, 2024.
