Summer on the Hudson: Children's Performance Series — live event

This children’s series features music, storytelling, and theater for young audiences up to age 7. Wear sunscreen! Stroller parking in designated areas only is mandatory. The Children’s Performance Series takes place each Thursday in July. New York City's singing cowboy HOPALONG ANDREW celebrates the "can do" spirit of cityfolk and countryfolk alike, and the incredible-but-true multicultural heritage of the American West. His high-spirited concerts incorporate music, lassos, and hijinx for a show that is fun and informative for small and tall alike. Who else will lasso a cab while playing the “William Tell” Overture on harmonica? He is the critics' favorite in the New York Times, New York Magazine, Time Out New York, Wall Street Journal, and family press; and tours nationally with appearances at Wolf Trap Nat’l Park, Levitt Pavilion Westport, Opry City Stage, and more.
