Esattamente 25 anni fa, usciva **1st Born Second**, album d’esordio dell’artista neo-soul statunitense **Bilal**. Un disco pietra miliare del genere, che lanciò l’artista nel panorama dell’epoca come uno degli esponenti del movimento **Soulquarians**, composto da D’Angelo, J-Dilla, Questlove, Erykah Badu, Raphael Saadiq, Common e Pino Palladino. Nell’album compaiono i contributi di artisti come Dr.Dre, Mos Def, Common, Jadakiss e Mike City. Le tracce alternano un groove trascinante a falsetti incredibili, passando dal soul al reggae in brani come Home. Impossibile non ricordare, nella tracklist, **Soul Sista**, traccia storica di Bilal. Per celebrare il **venticinquesimo anniversario** dalla sua uscita, Bilal torna in tour e farà ritorno al BIKO con uno **show in full band** che si preannuncia memorabile.
