David Murray live at Blue Note Jazz Club, New York on Sun, Sep 13, 8:00 PM. Tickets from $38.10. Lineup, start time and tickets on Ckord.
Saxophonist David Murray brings his quartet to the Blue Note for an intimate two-hour set featuring vocalist Francesca Cinelli. Murray's distinctive tenor sound—rooted in the free jazz tradition yet deeply conversant with blues and spirituals—creates a dynamic backdrop for Cinelli's expressive voice. This is a rare opportunity to experience two accomplished improvisers in dialogue, navigating standards and original compositions with the kind of spontaneity that defines live jazz at its best. September 13th at the Blue Note promises an evening of genuine musical exploration.
