International tenor Miles Mykkanen steps away from the opera stage for his debut at Joe's Pub with music director Adam Rothenberg (Broadway's Sweeney Todd, Company). The versatile duo will jump between cabaret classics, operatic arias, and musical theater showstoppers while sharing stories from on and off the world's stages. Miles Mykkanen won The Metropolitan Opera's prestigious National Council Auditions in 2019 and has since appeared at the opera house in Boris Godunov, Ariadne auf Naxos, Wozzeck and Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg. One of his signature roles, Candide has been performed at the Tanglewood Festival, Ravinia Festival, Opéra de Lausanne and beyond. The tenor's 23/24 season includes debuts at the Royal Opera House: Covent Garden and San Francisco Opera, and concert appearances with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Oregon Symphony, and Music of the Baroque.
